Sirion Disc shifting music box. This particular  music box is a German coin operated music box created at the turn of the century to compete with the newly invented phonograph. It is rare in that it plays one song and then automatically shifts to a second song. It has a beautiful original sound.

This was pictured in the Encyclopedia of Music  Boxes prior to my purchase. The cabinet has been professionally redone.

This great piece would make a nice addition to a museum scenario in pre-ww2 Germany. Comes with many discs.
